How does the Greenlight laser work?

Simple Laser Physics

The GreenLight™ technology uses an energy source based on a single wavelength of light in the visible spectrum. The wavelength is exactly 532nm in the green part of the spectrum. Lasers can use this light energy in a concentrated way to produce high levels of heat that can cause vaporisation of materials with millimetre precision. This can be seen in everyday life, such as steel working in the car manufacturing industry and paper cutting at a printers'.
